A Story of Dragons Preface
This blog begins the creation of a fantasy novel of a highly political world consisting of various factions of dragons - different species, confederations, countries - and the same for men. To begin with, I will be typing up the backstories, regions, plots, and characters I have written so far. It may contain magic at some point, but has been developed far enough without any, that I am leaning toward keeping it that way. I am OK with using magic in fantasy, but sparingly, like in LOTR, not as in Harry Potter. Having fantastical elements in a world grounded in real world physics is what makes my concept unique. Another unique element is the political complexity - this is not a tale of good and evil such as in LOTR - it is more like Game of Thrones - but what distinguishes it from that is that the dragons in my story are intelligent agents alongside the humans.
